L.A. Noire - "You've got rookie eyes"

I was pretty excited about jumping right in and searching for clues and cracking the case. Hell it was a big selling point for me to buy L.A Noire. Find out on Friday (or Saturday if I keep finishing these comics at 1am) if it lives up to my expectations.

Oh  see how this issue is black and white? There's a black and white setting for the game... which honestly is a bit s**t because what made that work in those old noire films work was with the dynamic lighting. LA Noire really fails in this area and is very pedestrian with their approach to lighting (with the exception of the rain scenes, those are bad ass). When you compare it to the beautiful work Rockstar did with Red Dead Redemption it was a real let down.
